Mrs. Lisa Black
5th Grade Teacher
Lisa Black is the 4th and 5th grade reading and writing teacher at the Cathedral of St. Raymond School. She graduated from Western Illinois University and has an Elementary Education degree with endorsements in Middle School Language Arts and Social Studies. Before children, she taught English/ Language Arts for 6th, 7th and 8th grade, in both a Catholic and public school. This will be her ninth year teaching, and her fifth year in 5th grade, here at St. Ray’s. She resides with her husband, Tim and two children, Lyndsay and Derek in Shorewood. Lyndsay is in 8th grade this year, and Derek is in 6th grade at Holy Family. Outside of 5th grade, she enjoys reading, crafting, yoga, cycling, and traveling with her family.
