Elements of our Early Childhood Program

Through a healthy balance of structure and exploration, our young learners build confidence and skills needed for a lifetime of success.

Academic Readiness

We provide an environment that allows children to learn by doing. Our warm, compassionate, and loving teachers provide a mix of independent, teacher-directed, and small group learning experiences and activities that build the foundations for learning, with specific focus on advancing language ability, mathematical reasoning, and scientific thought.

Social/Emotional Growth

Playful childhoods create happy, independent, creative and imaginative children.

A child’s brain develops more rapidly in the first 5 years of life than it ever does again. Within this time period, the brain will wire itself for social behaviors and emotional intelligence—a key factor in determining a student’s ability to learn new information in the future.  The best vehicle to develop these skills is through play. It gives a natural context to try out new skills, learn various problem solving strategies, develop self-help skills and build a positive self esteem.

Faith + Leadership

Every day our young learners experience God’s love through prayer, stories from the Bible, and positive relationships.  Our Catholic faith compels us to help every child discover their unique God-given gifts and talents. Within this environment, our students feel empowered to take risks and learn from mistakes, to embrace differences, and to consider the needs of others.
