Technology at St. Ray’s
St. Ray’s is fortunate to have a rich Technology program that is integrated with our core curriculum, allowing students to practice and grow their technological skills, to explore their creativity and to develop the behaviors and habits necessary to keep them smart and safe online.
Students use Lenovo 300E Chromebooks with touch screens. Every student in K-5 has a designated Chromebook for their use, stored in one of five carts that are shared between classrooms. Junior High students purchase their Chromebooks and have access to them throughout the day and at home; purchased Chromebooks remain with the student upon graduation.
Here are just a few things that set our program apart:
Tech @ St. Ray’s is our dedicated website for all things technology, with links to various resources for students, staff and families. The Parent Corner has many important links and documents for families as they support their children’s learning and navigate an ever-changing technological world.
Clever is our single sign-on digital learning platform. It gives students, teachers, and families easy access to our online resources. It works both at school and at home. Young students quickly login using a QR code.
Securly provides safe and supportive digital experiences for every student. Although no filter is perfect, the Securly Filter shields students from digital dangers and distractions to ensure time spent online is protected and productive.
