Our athletic program is an integral part of the St. Raymond’s experience. We view the athletic activities on the playing fields and courts as an extension of the classroom. It is in this context that students of all skill levels develop collaborative skills, strengthen their bodies, and create a healthy competitive spirit. Various sport teams are available in the fall, winter, and spring seasons for students in 5th-8th grades.
St. Raymond School participates in the South Suburban Cathollic Conference and competes against other Catholic schools around the Diocese of Joliet. Teams are formed based on participation level. There is a no cut policy so all students interested in playing play.
Before a student can participate, he/she must have written parental permission, proof of medical insurance and a current physical examination. Participants must meet academic eligibility standards; a parent or guardian must also attend the athletic director’s meeting at the beginning of each season. Athletic fees vary by sport.
