2nd Grade Teacher

Katie Homolka is a graduate of St. Pat’s Grade School, Joliet Catholic Academy, and the University of St. Francis. While attending the University of St. Francis, she received a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education with endorsements in Mathematics, Language Arts, and Social Sciences.  After graduating from the University of St. Francis, she taught 2nd grade for five years at Walnut Trails Elementary School for the Minooka School District. She then stayed home for 8 years to raise her three children. She has been a part-time aide at the Cathedral of St. Raymond School for the past two years, assisting in a Kindergarten and a Third Grade classroom. She is currently in her first year teaching 2nd grade at the Cathedral of St. Raymond School. She lives in Joliet with her husband Sean and her three children. Nate (10), Annie (7), and Charlie (6) are all students at the Cathedral of St. Raymond School. In her free time, she enjoys travelling, spending time outside, and spending time with family and friends.
