Mrs. Tara Jacoby

3rd Grade Teacher

Tara initially began her teaching career as a substitute teacher in St. Louis and Kansas City while her husband Mitch played in the NFL. She then spent time as a stay-at-home mother. Tara has been teaching at the Cathedral of St. Raymond since 2014 and has taught both 4th and 3rd grade. She has been in the Diocese of Joliet since 2010. Tara attended St. Anthony School in Streator, IL. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Education from Northern Illinois University where she was also a 4-year member of the cheerleading team. She and her husband reside in Shorewood and have three children: Makenna, Logan ( St. Ray’s Class of 2015), and Carson (St. Ray’s Class of 2020). Tara enjoys golfing, fitness, traveling, and quality time with her family when all three kids are home.
