Ms. Heidi Van De Voort

Music Teacher

Ms. Van De Voort is a veteran music teacher, having taught with Diocesan schools since 2019, and, prior to that, in public schools for six years, where she was Danielson Distinguished in instruction delivery.

Ms. Van De Voort earned her state certification from Illinois State University in 2009, and a Master’s in Music degree from Northern Illinois University in 2014, with an emphasis in juvenile vocal pedagogy. 

While part-time with St. Ray’s, Ms. Van De Voort also teaches private voice lessons with the Fox River Academy of Music and Art in downtown Oswego, teaching students of all ages in the Royal Conservatory curriculum. 

Heidi’s husband is a Junior High band director in Oswego, and they live in Boulder Hill with their three children.
